is putting cinnamon on face a good acne cure.?

I've been reading things about cinnamon being an efficient cure for acne. Is using just cinnamon a good idea? I have no honey.

2. I think they meant eating it, not putting it on your face, unless it is in some kind of absorbable lotion or cleansing product of some sort, so, I wouldn't waste a delicious spice like that for something that might not work. (but have some cinnamon toast!!!)
