ACNE......................?
i have had serious acne for 2 years now...im on a prescribtion drug from the doctor, steivamicien for a year now..any other tips on how to prevent teen acne?

1. wash your face with a gentle moisturising face wash in the morning, and at night.
keep to low fat diets, and low sugar stuff, and more vitamins like C, D, and E i think OH try some green tea, anything thats good for your skin.
2. I've searched the internet for websites with remedies to help acne, and have found a website which has a lot of tips you could do to prevent acne. Here are a few things it says:

3. Apply a honey mask to your face once or twice a week. Honey contains Honey has antibacterial properties so it is great for disinfecting and healing minor blemishes. Wash your face with cold water twice a day with acne wash. Keep extra hair off your face, if you have bangs try to pull them back. The extra oils in your hair can cause acne. Avoid wearing too much make-up.
4. buy vitamin E capsules. Then put a small cut on the capsule and let the liquid come out. Rub it on the area that u need and it will start to vanish and your face will be more clearer. Leave it on for 1 hour and then use a face wash to clean out (clean deep and is foam). Your face will be a oily when its on your face but no worries. My dad gave me this advice and it worked for me. It took 1 week to work. Put on everyday. (liquid capsules)

6. i used to get a lot of pimples after using clinique's 3-step system. it was great at first, but after a while, i was breaking out even worse than i was before i started using it. now i use hot water and a clean washcloth in the shower and nothing else and they've pretty much gone away completely. make sure you don't touch your face, either!
7. MEDICATION OR DIET? Over the counter acne medicine contains one of these active ingredients: Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, Sulfur, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic Acid or Lactic Acid). If acne still not improving after trying these, then see a doctor to get a stronger medicine or try changing diet & lifestyle.
