How long will baby acne last - it has already been two weeks?
I wont touch it as suggested by the pediatrician but I would like to know how long your child had it for.

1. my son, who is now 2 yrs old., had baby acne for at least a month if not 2 months. but with each child it will vary
2. Baby acne tends to clear up them come back until the baby is 4-6 months old. All 3 of my sister's children had it and it came and went with them. Don't worry about it though! I'm sure he or she is still way cute! :)
3. 2 weeks is too young, your baby's pores are developing. please don't pinch!
4. Not long, a few more weeks maybe. In the UK it is called milk spots. I think they are cute.
5. I believe my baby was almost 6 months before it cleared up.
6. Sometimes it could last up too 2 or 3 months.
All 3 of mine had it. 1 lasted only a couple of weeks. But, my girls both had it past their 2nd month.
My ped suggested that I keep the area clean and maybe wipe it down with baby wipes(they contain some alchohol) which might help dry it up.
Besides that just leave it alone and it will go away I promice.
Congrads on the new baby..

7. 1 month.
8. My son was about a month and a half when it finally went away. It may last that long. Do not worry about it. It will go away. :) Good luck with your little blessing
9. Everyone seems to be telling you not to put anything on it... you should try very small amounts of .5% hydrocortisone cream. Notice that I said half percent not five percent. .5% is just strong enough to clear up the acne, but not strong enough to cause any damage to babies sensitive skin.
10. My son had it for about a month but it really depends on the baby. Some have it for a few days and others a few months. I wouldn't worry about it too much. If your still worried tell your pediatrician and she might be able to suggest something to help clear it up but it should clear on it's own.
11. My kdis had them off and on for the first 6 months. Just be sure to clean their face after each feeding with a damp rag (no need for the baby bath everytime) and they should start to go away.
12. i think the bumps are worse within the first month after birth but as the child gets older it goes away, their skin will get use to the harsh elements of the air and that of fabrics
13. Why does the baby have acne which is usually caused by oil skin. Or is it really acne. I would get a second opinion.
14. I think with both of my boys, the acne lasted around 2-3 weeks. They got it at around 4 -5 weeks old until they were about 8 weeks. It clears up really fast, my second had tons of pimples all over his face and neck and he pretty much just woke up one day with clear skin again. I didn't do anything different, just the usual bathing. I also put lotion on his face and head as his skin was really dry and he had alot of cradle cap, that didn't make it worse.
