My son has baby acne is there anything i can do to get rid of it?
I dont put lotions or creams on his face or shoulders(where the acne is) and i wash his face with just warm water and a wash cloth. Is that all i can do besides wait for it to clear up on his own or is there something more i can do?

1. All the advice I've seen is to just do what you're doing and wait it out. I know it looks awful, but it really doesn't last long.
2. just keep cleaning it with a warm wash cloth.... in time it will go away... my son had the same prob and that's what a dermatologist and allergist told me.
3. Or you sure its acne. It could be dry skin or an allergic reaction to something. You should probably check with a pediatrician about it.
4. it could also be milk bumps which all babies seem to get .. all i did was keep it clean and try baby oil gel that worked for my kids
5. if he is a new born try changing his formula, but before all and any changes Ask the Doc first..
6. keep doing what you are doing. Remember it isn't from dirt, it is just him growing and hormones. If you notice dry patches with it you could run a humidifier. Good luck and don't worry, it will go away within a few weeks. My daughter had it bad too.
7. I dont think there is anything you can do. you just have to wait.it will go away on its own.
8. Infant acne is generally caused by exposure to your hormones through breastfeeding or by the hormonal change shortly following birth. Nothing you can do, wait it out and DON'T PICK!!
