1. they usualy is them clearing out all the hormones from whilst inside at 6 weeks i was told thats when it would flare up and around 4 months that when your body releases the last of pregnancy hormones
babies can also just have milk spots especialy breastfed babies
2. Baby acne is actually quite common and completely harmless. How long it will last can vary from infant to infant. Baby acne is temporary and often brief condition that will disappear in the first few months after birth.
In most cases, baby acne will go away on its own within three weeks to three months. If after three months, the baby acne shows no sign of improvement, parents should point out the acne at their child's wellness visit to see if there is an underlying skin condition that needs to be address

3. my daughters went away around six - 8 weeks
4. I wouldn't worry about it, but the aveeno baby cream/moisturizer did help clear up my son's acne alot, we would put some on every night before bed and within 2 weeks his face was clear.
5. It's not actually acne or rashes, you'll see it normally in newborns, it will clear up eventually, nothing to worry about. If you want more information about these kinds of things, like caring for babies, try this site I found: http://www.PlanAFamily.com. It's a nice looking site, with good information for mothers.
6. it can last a couple of weeks. A lot of people report success using baby powder dabbed directly in the affected area. Good luck. It's a very common occurrence and usually nothing to worry about.
