Can a baby have baby acne at 13 months?

My 13 month old has had a rash on her cheeks for several months that looks like acne. My Dr said she is too old for baby acne, and it is probably eczema. The creams he told me to use for that aren't working. Anyone have any idea what this could be? It doesn't seem to bother her. I'm just worried it might scar. Thanks!

1. My son has eczema on his face also.. I use Cetaphil, and it seems to work pretty well for him..

I don't know if that's the same thing that you're currently using or not.. But, if it is, and it still isn't working.. I can only suggest from experience, to use Aveeno products, which also seem to help my son..

2. It will not scar but some eczema medications take a while to work. It sounds to me like she may have an allergy to some soap from when she takes a bath. Sometimes only one area of the body reacts to the soap instead of the whole body. Try using Benadryl cream on the blemishes to see if it is an allergy. If its not at least you can rule it out.
