My baby has little pink bumps on her face and i dont think its acne?

my sisters baby was born with baby acne but my daughter is now 3 weeks old and just got these little pink bumps on her cheeks and forehead. we live in arizona and its really hot, could it be a heat rash? she also has them on the palms of her hands.

1. This is common. It is your baby's body detoxing. Don't worry about it.

2. It could be if you are keeping her in a hot environment for a prolonged period of time...but keep in mind, a newborn baby's skin is very very sensitive so it could be affected by the slightest thing...could it be detergent or the soap you are using?

3. It could be heat bumps , or she could be allergic to something..!!

5. It could be a heat rash, measles, chicken pox, either way, being that young...you should take your baby to the doctor. They will better beable to tell you what it is & best meds for it. Especially being only 3 weeks old, the doctor is the best option. :)

6. It's common, don't worry. But if it starts to get red in between bumps it might have turned in heat rash from the sweat coming off of them.

7. my daughter is 4 weeks and she just started getting baby acne. i have never heard of having it on palms though- i have never heard of having heat rash on palms either. she should be going to dr in another weeks i would just wait and ask dr about it then

8. My son has it too and I was told it mean he is eatting right

9. She could be allergic to the laundry detergent you use. Maybe you should try changing it and seeing if it clears up. Also take her to the doc if you are really that concerned. Best to be safe rather than sorry!! Best of luck!!

10. baby acne, or heat rash, new fabric softener on sheets, perfume on clothing. just keep her face clean with a wet cloth when you bathe her. ( no soaps and try to avoid the listed above)

11. my baby had that i think that it was a heat rash because she only got it when it was really hot.... alot of babies get it its very common
