how long does baby acne and milia last for?
I have a 3 week old son who was born with milia & developed baby acne around 1 1/2 weeks. i know that it's not discomforting to him & i just feel bad for the little guy because his face looks like a kid going through puberty!

1. Those little bumps should start to fad away soon. They will be gone around 8 weeks old.
2. My baby girls lasted till she was about 3 months but i think it varies!!
3. it lasts a few weeks...what my daughter's pedi suggested was for me to gently clean the affected areas with warm water and mild soap and that seem to work for her.
4. My daughter's was completely gone by two months. Don't worry...it will go away soon. Good luck.
5. My sons went away in about a week..My doc recommended corn starch 2 times a day..
6. Its caused by that waxy stuff they have on them in the womb, and its normal - wash with a gentle soap, you may want to try more than one to make sure he isnt reacting to it - wash all his clothing separate from the rest of the families, use detergent for babies - and remember its summer time and its hot and icky for everyone so keep him clean and dry -
DONT foget to wash his head really well for cradle cap and DONT pick at it if it shows up !!
