Does anyone know a cure for baby acne or know a product that will help?

My baby is 5 weeks old and has baby acne. Does anyone know what I could use or do that would get rid of it?

1. It will go away on its own.

2. just give them a bath everyday.

3. DO not put anything on it.Do not pick at it or scrub it. Babies have extremely sensitive skin. It will clear up on its own.

4. You just have to wait it wil go away on it's own.
It might take a week or two.

5. There is nothing wrong with the baby having "baby acne". It might come and go for the first year bc the baby's skin is getting used to being in air, remember they just spent nine months in a warm watery home so it will take some time getting used to it. Don't stress about it, it doesn't hurt the baby and if anything just make sure you keep the baby's face dry and clean at all times, I have found it helps speed up the process when my son starts to break out.

6. No, you can't cure it or use anything for it. It goes away on its own.

7. It depends, if you are breastfeeding, the hormones in your milk that you produce could make the baby break out. Also if you use too much soap at bath time or don't bathe baby often enough the pimples will show up. So I would just see if bathing baby more often or not changes anything and if it doesn't then it most likely hormones. The pimples will eventually go away on their own. Don't use anything besides mild soap and water on baby's skin.

8. if ur baby has acne then it's probably eczima and u need 2 go to the dermatologist and get it fixed before it gets worse and it's ugly. if it's acne acne then umm... try getting a different formula or something because that's not supposed to happen.

9. I understand how you feel. Our baby has it really bad. I know everyone says just leave it alone. It gets annoying. Unfortunately we haven't found anything that helps.

10. they will go away on their own. My son had them a lot. His doctor prescribed a cream when they became worse. The acne reduced but never went away totally. As he grew up they decreased, I'd apply the cream when he got the acne, they would go away and be back again after 2 days. My son's 10 months now and doesn't have any acne.

11. It does go away... hormones in moms milk are part of the cause. I was using the sleepytime baby wash and when I switched to the body wash (both Johnson's & Johnson's) it seemed to start to go away. She still gets a bit from time to time at 3 months. My son had it for about 6 weeks, too.

12. time, wash once a day with a cool cloth and no soap...it's completely normal,and don't try to 'pop' any of them, they will go away shortly....

13. Accutane.

Just kidding. Accutane actually causes birth defects....

Really, just time is all you can really give him/her. :)
