1. Dont use harsh soaps or lotions. Cutt your hair if it covers that area. If you sweat alot, shower alot, but dont dry out your skin too much. Do NOT put make-up on them, as it will only make it worse. The tips I suggested can help a good bit if done continually. Eat less fast food, as grease can go right to the skin!

2. Clerasil, rub it on your face anytime you get a chance, and it'll clear you right up in about 2-3 weeks.

Don't bother with that whole proactive stuff, clearasil works just as good.

3. Dear Sister, you can contact DR RAJAN T.D via email and he being an expert dermatologist based in MUMBAI will give you the best opinion. He has been my skin doctor since last 10 and half years and believe me he is an expert in his field. All the best

4. You need to go to a dermatologist. This may not necessarily be acne; it could be folliculitis or even something else. You would have to have one of the lesions "cultured" to determine the exact bacterial/fungal cause of the infection. Do not listen to what the other doctor told you; if s/he doesn't know what it is, how could he possibly know if it will last five years or be permanent? It's really not possible to treat something when you don't know the cause. You're shooting in the dark if you try to treat it yourself with over-the-counter products, really.
